Fume Cupboard Safety Sequence Control
- Our proprietary microprocessor
controller is purpose built to perform all the safety sequence functions
for fume cupboards defined by Standard AS/NZS 2243.8
- External devices (fans,
light, power outlets)are switched by high capacity relays on the main
circuit board. The relays are electrically separated from the control
circuitry, and relay contacts are protected by varistors.
- The control circuit board
is installed in an enclosure with mains power local isolator, circuit
breaker for fan & light, and RCD breaker for power outlets.
- The control box is suitable
for retrofitting on existing fume cupboards.
- Operating programs are stored
in a plug in eeprom and can be easily upgraded to new versions. The
operating program is selected by binary switch. New features can be
implemented using the same controller.
